Telemarketers - Since the dawn of the telephone, when Alexander Bell made the first prank telemarketing call to Thomas Watson, telemarketing has been a way of life for many people.
From the soccer mom to the aspiring actress; From the college student to the guys in the boiler room.... Yes, we have seen them all, selling us everything that we never wanted.
Now, in one call center, we get to see the shenanigans of what goes on at the other end of the line, and glimpse into the life's of hardly working agents who try their darndest to outdo each other to try and get the most coveted prize of all... Dinner with the boss (yes they do extremely well at kissing ass)
There's Gonzales - What can we say about Gonzo? He is the self-proclaimed "Michael Jackson" of the pack, and is quite commonly calling himself "Mike McDonald" for reasons we don't even know. He has the philosophy that everyone can be molded into a "sales animal". Yeah, ok Gonzo, just get busy on the phone and get those sales numbers up.
There's Mick, the ever loving absentminded boss who seems to forget his keys, his briefcase, and quite often his pants. Guess that's why the crew thinks he's a Gem.... Or a complete ditz ...
There's Tim K, (or as we call him "Special K"). Everyone's answer to an IT question no one asked. Yep, they never ask him one question about IT, only Payroll. Sheesh guys, when will ya learn that "Special K" has nothing to do with Payroll or the breakfast cereal!
There's Heidi. Gotta love Heidi. A hopeless romantic to the end who daydreams that one-day she will be rescued by a pirate or a prince. Sheesh such a hopeless romantic.. No wait, according to most people she's just hopeless, and maybe one day she'll give up her fantasies (and her horde of cats) for that one guy....
There's Kylie. The txt talk champion of the modern era.... So she says. Kylie's claim to fame that she can talk TXT in any language. Ok Kylie.. . Just as long as it DNIWYMS :)

There's Karen. Ah Karen, the aspiring actress. A stint in a few plays made our gal think she's the next Marilyn Monroe.... If only she could apply the same enthusiasm for her call times rather than googling casting calls and sneaking into the bathroom with Jimbo, we'd make more money,... Opps, I meant "she'd" make more money :)
Then Jimbo, other wise known as Salty-boy. We call him that for the reason his desk is always cluttered with snacks... It is not uncommon for Salty-Boy to arrive late, which is strange since he is Karen's boyfriend. Guys, how does that work? You live together, so you can get to work ontime together! On afew times we have seen Salty-Boy and Kaz walk out of the bathroom together. Geez guys, get a room! No, I stand corrected... Get back on the phones! :)
Then there's Brock. There are not enough words in the English language that can describe our playboy Brock. Instead of making sales calls, he spends most of his day flirting and trying to score dates with receptionists who "sound cute". Brocky, if we told ya once, we told ya a thousand times; There's a time n place for everything. Here's 100 bucks, get yourself a hooker for an hour.. Maybe then you'll get your mind back on the job :)
Robbie L - We have no clue why Robbie works with us. After all, he is the host of the graveyard shift on a local radio station, and even his voice make it evident he aint cut out for sales. But, he is good for a laugh, especially when he says his "DJ" name to a customer LMAO.
The Prankster - Johnny B. What else can we say? Supposed to be the sales manager but spends a lot of time pulling pranks on everyone, especially the boss! JB is good at his job, and even better when it comes to pulling a fast one over Mick. This one time, Mick arrived at the office to find his chair hanging from the ceiling, and his precious "Bears" mascot locked in the office safe. Good one Johnny B.. It's just as well you are damn good at sales otherwise you'd be out of a job :)
Now there's Beryl. The Office Manager, or Queen Bitch as most in the the office call her. Hard-nosed, impolite, and tells you how it is. She had a thing for Mick many years ago... Shame that he cant remember dating her back in high school... Maybe that's why she acts pissed all the time..... That or because the staff act like real galoots :)
Katka (KittyKat). Queen Bitch (Beryl) hates Kittykat for reasons we don't know. We think it's coz Katka and Mick are close, if you know what I mean ;) Seriously though, I think it's coz Katka dresses better, or looks cuter. Hmmm just as long as Brocky doesn't start making the moves on this Russian princess... Mick may not like that at all :)
Sherine... Our receptionist with a difference. With that I mean she's must think she deserves to be in some vampire show or something because she tries to dress like one... Or a dominatrix... Her attire can be off-putting sometimes, but then again, we do seem to be getting more clients of a different variety coming to her desk.... Hmmm will have to look into that one :)
There's Rudi. The hard-nosed business man who owns more businesses than he cares to imagine. An entrepreneur, a business savvy guy who takes no prisoners, pulls no punches and answers to no-one... well, except for his wife who holds him by the short and curlies :)
And just WHO is the Sticky Note Bandit? This elusive person likes to post-it notes everywhere Mick is. In his office, in his car, even when he takes a leak... Some say that the SNB does not exist and that Mick writes the notes himself. Others say that the SNB may just be our resident prankster Johnny B, but that would be out of character for JB... We may never know the answer to this riddle... But maybe some day...
They are The Telemarketers. A group of misfits creating havoc for unsuspecting customers one call at a time :)
